Experience

2004-Present: Starlite Training, Bellevue, WA

·       Own and run my own training and lesson business

·       Maintain a clientele base up to 10 horses at a time

·       Train a wide range of horses of all levels

·       Successfully break babies to ride

·       Turn many problem horses into calm relaxed competition horses

·       Compete clients’ horses at local competitions

·       Teach local clinics with up to 8 riders a day

2003-2004:  Working Student for Leigh Cochran, Bear Creek Farm, Woodinville, WA

·       Groomed and rode up to 5 horses a day

·       Received extensive training from Leigh on a daily basis

1999:  Working Student for Andrea Leinker, Warendorf, Germany

·       Groomed and rode up to 15 horses a day

·       Daily lessons on FEI horses

1997-1999:  Working Student for Merryl Vines, MTV Training, Woodinville, WA

·       Groomed and rode up to 6 horses a day

·       2007 – 4th place USEF Festival of Champions “Brentina Cup”

·       2006 – USDF Gold Medal

·       2005 – USDF Region 6 Reserve Champion Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle

o   6th place Del Mar National Horse Show CDI** Grand Prix Freestyle

o   High Point 73% Grand Prix Test at W.E.C. Competition

·       2004 – USDF Silver Medal

o   USDF Region 6 Reserve Champion Intermediare 1, 2 and Intermediare Freestyle

·       2003 - USDF Bronze Medal

o   14th place overall North American Young Rider Championships in Quebec, Canada

·       2001 - High Point 78% Third Level Freestyle at Cedar Downs Competition
